Job Description

Creative Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our school in Bedford. As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive lessons that inspire students to learn.

You will have the chance to work with students of various ages and backgrounds, providing support and guidance in their educational journey.

As a Supply Teacher, your main responsibility will be to cover any teacher absences within the school. This means you will have the chance to work in different classrooms, with different age groups and subjects, every day. This dynamic role will give you the opportunity to apply your teaching skills in a range of settings, ensuring that every student has access to quality education, even during a teacher's absence.

Responsibilities

· Step in to cover teacher absences in various classrooms and subjects

· Deliver lesson plans and teaching materials provided by the absent teacher

· Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment

· Provide individualized attention and support to students, addressing their specific needs and challenges

· Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of instruction

· Follow school policies and procedures, including maintaining accurate attendance and reporting any incidents or concerns

· Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities and discussions

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

· Teaching certification and/or relevant experience in a similar role

· Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and structured environment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and build rapport

· Adaptability and flexibility to work in different classrooms and subjects

· Patience and empathy when working with diverse student populations

· Organizational skills to effectively manage multiple classrooms and schedules

· Familiarity with curriculum guidelines and instructional strategies appropriate to various grade levels
